About Stacie
Hi! I’m Stacie, the creator of Preschool and Playtime. I am a former teacher-turned-resource creator who specializes in preschool-2nd grade resources.
I got my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and my Master’s in Child Development with a focus on Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.
I am also the creator of Cultivating Brilliant Minds, a one stop shop for preschool-2nd grade resources and activities for parents and teachers!
One of the biggest struggles I see in kindergarten? Kids aren’t prepared!
Many children today are entering kindergarten without the foundational skills they need to thrive. After years of screen time and structured, adult-led activities, kids often haven’t had enough opportunities to build the physical and cognitive readiness kindergarten demands.
The good news? The skills needed for kindergarten can be intentionally developed well before the first day of kindergarten.
