Handprint Christmas Tree Card

Make an adorable handprint Christmas tree card with kids! This easy, heartfelt craft is perfect for holiday gifts or classroom keepsakes.

Materials

  • Green construction paper

  • Red construction paper 12×18

  • Brown construction paper

  • Yellow construction paper

  • Scissors

  • Glue

  • Christmas colored pom poms

Instructions

  1. Trace hand on green construction paper. Trace it toward the end of the paper.
  2. Fold the construction paper 3 times. If you are using smaller construction paper, trace the hand 3 times on different pieces. As long as you have 3 handprints you are good!
  3. Cut out the handprints.
  4. Fold the red construction paper in half.
  5. Cut out a small tree trunk from the brown construction paper.
  6. Use the star cutter to punch up a star in the yellow construction paper. If not using a star cutter, cut a star out of the yellow construction paper.
  7. Glue the brown tree trunk at the bottom middle of the red construction paper.
  8. Glue one handprint toward the left of the card.
  9. Glue another handprint toward the right of the card.
  10. Glue the last handprint on top of the other 2 handprints.
  11. Glue the yellow star on top of the handprint tree.
  12. Glue pom poms on around the handprint to look like ornaments.
  13. Write a heartfelt message inside your card!
