Shark Slime

Materials
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup clear school glue
- 1 tablespoon contact solution (containing boric acid or sodium borate)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Blue food coloring
- Blue and silver glitter
- Mixing bowl
- Plastic shark figures
Instructions
- Pour the warm water and clear glue into a mixing bowl. Stir until completely combined.
- Add the baking soda and mix well.
- Mix in the contact solution.
- Stir in a drop or two of blue food coloring until you reach your desired ocean shade.
- Sprinkle in blue and silver glitter and mix to distribute the sparkle throughout the slime.
- Stir continuously. The mixture will begin to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
- Knead the slime with your hands for 2 to 3 minutes until it becomes smooth and stretchy. If it’s still too sticky, add a few more drops of contact solution and continue kneading.
- Add toy sharks, seaweed, shells, or other ocean-themed toys for imaginative sensory play.
