Materials
- Paper plate
- Black yarn
- Tape
- Paint (black, orange, and purple)
- Small sponge or sponge pieces
- Paper plate or paint tray (for paint)
Instructions
- Tape one end of a piece of yarn to the back of a paper plate.
- Wrap the yarn around the plate in different directions to create a spider web pattern. Secure the yarn on the back with tape as needed.
- Dip a sponge lightly into black, orange, and purple paint. Avoid using too much paint on the sponge.
- Gently stamp the sponge onto the front of the plate, covering the entire surface with colorful prints. Don’t press too hard, or the paint may bleed under the yarn.
- Allow the paint to dry completely.
- Carefully remove the yarn from the plate to reveal the white spider web design underneath.
