Materials
pty toilet paper roll
Scissors
Yellow paint
Brown paint
Cardstock or construction paper
Cotton swab (Q-tip)
Paper plate or paint tray
Instructions
reate the sunflower stamp. Cut 8 to 10 evenly spaced slits about 1½ inches deep around one end of the toilet paper roll. Fold each strip outward to form sunflower petals.
Paint the petals. Pour yellow paint onto a paper plate or tray. Dip the cut end of the toilet paper roll into the paint, making sure each petal is coated.
Stamp the flowers. Press the painted roll firmly onto the paper. Lift it straight up to reveal a sunflower shape. Repeat to create several flowers across the page, reapplying paint as needed.
Add the flower centers. Dip a cotton swab into brown paint. Dot the middle of each stamped flower with many small dots until the center is filled in, giving it the textured look of sunflower seeds.
Let dry. Allow the artwork to dry completely before displaying your sunflower garden.
