What You’ll Need For These Pirate Alphabet Worksheets
How To Use These Pirate Alphabet Worksheets
1. Print out the version that works best for your kids. If they are just at a beginning stage of learning the alphabet and writing, choose the full tracing version. If they are more advanced, choose the tracing and writing version.
2. There are two ways to use these pirate alphabet worksheets. First, you can staple it into a packet and go in order. Or, you can pull individual pages when you are learning each letter.
As a former teacher, I suggest learning the alphabet in a way that also helps kids read words. Starting with the letters a, c, m, p, and t, kids can read a variety of words after learning only 5 letters and their sounds, such as cat, map, mat, and cap. Teaching the alphabet this way allows kids build phonics skills earlier than teaching the alphabet in order.
