Playdough Recipe

1. Allow the playdough to cool completely before inviting children to play.
2. Mix the flour, salt, and cream of tartar together in a large bowl.
3. Add the vegetable oil and boiling water. Stir until the mixture is combined.
4. Add the pumpkin pie spice and orange food coloring.
5. Knead the mixture until the color is evenly blended and the playdough becomes smooth and soft.
6. Place the pumpkin playdough in the center of a tray.

Playdough Tray

1. Arrange artificial fall leaves, acrylic fall pieces, and pumpkin seeds (can be dyed or natural) around the playdough.
2. Add a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter and a variety of playdough tools.
3. Invite children to roll, flatten, cut, stamp, and shape the playdough.
4. Encourage children to press the fall pieces and pumpkin seeds into the playdough.
