  • Brown construction paper
  • Acrylic or washable paint in fall colors, such as red, orange, and yellow
  • Fork
  • Paintbrush or marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue

How To Make A Fork Painted Turkey

1. Pour a small amount of each paint color onto a plate or paint palette.

2. Dip the back of a fork into one of the paint colors.

3. Place the fork on the white paper and slide it outward to create a feather-like paint stroke.

4. Repeat with different fall colors, creating a fan of colorful feathers.

5. Allow the painted feathers to dry completely.

6. Cut a turkey body from brown construction paper.

7. Draw eyes, a beak, and a snood on the turkey body.

8. Glue the turkey body onto the paper in front of the painted feathers, covering the center where the feathers meet.
