How To Make The Little Guys Handprint Craft
After reading The Little Guys by Vera Brosgol, talk about the tiny characters and how they work together. Then create your own little guy using a handprint!
1. Paint the Hand: Paint the child’s hand with yellow paint, leaving the thumb unpainted.

2. Make the Handprint: Press the painted hand firmly onto the paper to create the handprint. Allow the paint to dry.

3. Make the Acorn Cap: Cut an acorn-cap shape from brown construction paper.

4. Add the Pattern: Use a black marker to draw a crisscross pattern on the acorn cap.
5. Make the Nose: Cut a small nose from orange construction paper.
6. Assemble Your Little Guy: Glue the orange nose onto the handprint and the brown acorn cap near the top of the handprint.

7. Add the Details: Use a black marker to draw two arms and two legs.

8. Finish Your Little Guy: Add any other fun details you would like to make your little guy unique!
