How To Make This Bat Mobile Paper Plate Craft
1. Create the Moon: Cut a large crescent moon shape from the paper plate. Paint the moon yellow and allow it to dry completely.
2. Make the Bat: Draw or trace a simple, small bat shape onto black construction paper. Cut out the bat.
3. Add the String: Cut a piece of yarn or string and tape one end to the back of the bat.
4. Attach the Bat: Tape the other end of the yarn to the top back of the crescent moon so the bat hangs inside the moon.
5. Display Your Craft: Hang your bat and moon mobile where you can see your spooky nighttime scene!
Fun Variations For This Bat Mobile Paper Plate Craft
Cut and paint the moon any way you’d like. While a crescent moon works best for the mobile, you can use any phase of the moon! Paint it yellow, grey, or add craters!
Add more bats by cutting out smaller ones. Hang them at different heights so they don’t overlap.
